Tunneb end kassina...

Oktoobris 2017 kirjutasin Joonatan Vaglarauast, kes tunneb, et pole inimene, vaid siga ja et poliitkorrektsus nõuab loobumist sõnast "inimene", mille asemel tuleks kasutada sõna "olevus, elusolend vms". Nüüd vilksas kuskil internetis silma teade, et keegi noor naisterahvas, st. emane olevus keeldubki tunnistamast end inimeseks, ta tunneb, et on kass, on seda tunnud lapsest saadik. Mis edasi? Kas ühendit LGBT, nüüd sageli juba LGBTQ peaks täiendama veel ühe tähega, näiteks L-ga, mis tähendaks "Living Being". "Animal" ei sobi öelda, sellega solvame neid, kes end kassiks või seaks peavad. Tõepoolest, mis edasi? Kas kuskil on punane joon, mida ka PC kindlad pooldajad ei ole valmis ületama? Või ületame selle joone ja tunnistame, et kassinimesel on kasslapsed, olgu siis karvased ja pika sabaga või karvadeta ja sabata? Ja laseme, kasutades geneetika ja meditsiini saavutusi, inimesel muuta end seaks või ahviks või mingiks uut tüüpi olevuseks? Tal peaks ju olema õigus selleks või kuidas?

IN October 2017 I wrote about a fictional person who thinks he is not human, but swine. He thought that political correctness demands we must renounce using the word "human", resp. "man, woman", using instead "living being" or something similar. Now, I found somewhere in the internet a story about a woman who has from childhood on felt she was a cat, not a human being. So what now? If we renounce to use words "man" and "woman", or otherwise assert everyone has the right to choose his/her gender, should we then give everyone also the right to be a cat, a horse, etc? Should we add a letter to LGBT (or, nowadays often LGBTQ) meaning "living being"? Should we recognize the children of an ex-woman to have cats as children, should we give these persons and their beloved the right to marry and other human rights? Or is there a red line even the most radical lbgt-ists do not want to cross? I don't know. Should we help somebody who feels he/she is not human but a different living being, to transform his/her body into a body of a swine or, perhaps, a being that exists only in his/her dreams? After all, can we deny this person to realize his/her dreams?
